Starting from a basic introduction to political economy, this issue of Revolutionärer Weg analyzes the whole spectrum of capitalist crises and their interaction: agricultural crises, international debt crises, economic and structural crises, the environmental crisis, and so on. It analyzes the objective laws on which the transition from capitalism to socialism is based and how they find expression in these comprehensive manifestations of crisis. The book comes to the conclusion that the general crisis of capitalism entered a new, fourth phase during the 1980s. Of special importance is the dialectical interrelation between general crisis of capitalism and revolutionary crisis.
